Meet Ron Clements on his book tour in Summer and Fall 2021!
A Sports Fan’s Guide to Route 66 will be in bookstores and online everywhere on August 3, 2021.
Ron is embarking on a 15-city, 8-state book launch tour starting the week of August 16th. Check back here for more venues and dates as we roll-out this tour. However, in the interests of protecting the health of our communities, all of the events listed on this page are subject to cancellation. We will update this page with the most current information, so please check back here often! (Last update was July 20, 2021). The Delta Variant is continuing to directly affect this tour and at two of the scheduled events have been re-set as Virtual Only. They are marked as Virtual.
***On Friday, August 20th, Ron Clements will kick-off the 15-city “A Sports Fan’s Guide Route 66” book launch tour at the historic Barney’s Beanery in West Hollywood, California. Ron will be at this Route 66 iconic location from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Barney’s Beanery is located at 8447 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069.
***On August 28th, Ron Clements will be at the 19th Hole Bar and Grille in Needles, California from 11 am to 3:00 pm. The 19th Hole Bar and Grille is located at 144 Marina Dr, Needles, CA 92363. More information.
***On August 30th, Ron Clements will be signing books at the Kingman Visitor Center in Kingman, Arizona from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The Kingman Visitor Center is located at 120 W Andy Devine Avenue in Kingman, Arizona 86411. More information at 928-753-6106.
***On September 1st, Ron Clements will be signing books at the historic Hackberry General Store in Hackberry, Arizona from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
***On September 5th Ron Clements will be the Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce from 11 am to 2pm located at 101 W Rte 66, Flagstaff, AZ 86001.
***On September 11th, Ron Clements will be signing books at the famous La Posada Hotel in Winslow Arizona from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. The La Posada Hotel is located at 303 E. Second Street in Winslow, AZ 86047. More information here.
***On September 16th, Ron Clements will be signing books and telling tall tales about the sports programs found along Route 66 at the Navajo County Historical Society Museum in Holbrook, Arizona starting at 3:00 pm. The Navajo County Historical Society Museum is located at 100 E Arizona Street in Holbrook, AZ 86025.
***On September 18th, Ron Clements will be signing books at the famous Sammy C’s Rock N’ Sports Pub and Grille in Gallup, New Mexico. Ron will be there from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Sammy C’s Rock N’ Sports Pub and Grille is located at 107 W Coal Ave, Gallup, New Mexico 87301. More information here.
***On September 22nd, Ron Clements had been scheduled to attend a live event at the Bookworks bookstore in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bookworks is located at 4022 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107, but in the interests of public safety this event has been cancelled. Signed copies of Ron’s book will be at the store starting on the 22nd of September.

***On Saturday, November 20th, Ron Clements will be at the Tulsa Event Center as part of the Tulsa Route 66 Marathon, sponsored by Fleet Feet Sports and Marshall Brewing from 11 am to 2pm. The Tulsa Expo is located at 14217 E 21st St B, in Tulsa, OK 74134.
